FAQ
I search the directory but it always says '0 matching entries found'. If you are having trouble finding an entry that you know is in the directory, do a very simple search. Clear the form and only fill in the 'country' field. For example, type in 'USA'. There should be over 500 entries for that search. If it still does not work, it may be the browser you are using. Be sure you are using a Netscape 2.0 or compatible browser. Older browsers have a problem with the radio buttons found on many forms. If you are still having a problem, please e-mail www@mail.yfu.org. Please tell us what browser and version you are using. When I go to edit my entry, the search engine can't find it. Be sure that you are providing the first and last name exactly as it appears in the directory. To double check, search the directory for your entry. If you are still having a problem, please e-mail www@mail.yfu.org. Why does it only display up to 50 entries? The goal of the directory is to help people find each other. For this purpose you should be able to narrow your search enough so that less than 50 entries are returned from your query. For example, to find alumni who went on the same program as you, you can type in the program year and country. This search should yield less than 50 entries. Copyright © 1995-1997 Youth For
